The Eternity knot, also referred to as the Lover's knot is early Celtic in origin. There is no beginning or end so it represents changelessness, an everlasting cycle - that of time, of manifestation and of course, love and friendship.

This Celtic symbol also bears the additional meaning of the duality of male-female, yin-yang, and faith vs. worldly things.

One Eternity knot adorns each end of the cord, finished with a short braid at either end. This leaves the middle of the cord free for you to make your own knot on your special day as you literally tie the knot!

Pendants:
Each of the four individual cords that make up the cord in the example shown has a pendant at each end, so 4 pairs.

You can choose 1 to 4 pairs of pendants, or just go for cones or caps as endings.

For pendants, you can either match them each side or have different pendants each side. If you just want one pair, we will attach them to the binding, and finish the cords in Celtic cones or caps that match your pendant color. For 2 or 3 pairs, we will attach them to the ends of the cords as shown in the photos, with the other cord ends finished with cones.

Colors:
You can choose your own colors for your ceremony. Choose one, two, three or four colors. There is also the option of choosing the binding color (or you can just let us choose what suits best based on your other colors.) The cord shown is in two colors: blossom and ivory with charcoal binding and it has 8 different pendants.
